icole’s career path includes teaching, chemical engineering, management consulting, filmmaking, writing/editing/publishing, multimedia design, and social entrepreneurship… In 2017, Nicole founded Superstar X, inspired by her brother Edward K. Weatherly’s life and artwork. Edward’s experiences with schizophrenia, substance use disorder, homelessness, sexual identity, and HIV, in addition to his many accomplishments in academia, classical piano, musical theatre, and pop-graffiti artwork, led Nicole to co-create different ways for multidimensional wellness to happen. Originally from the Village of Czar, Treaty 6, circa 200 people, Nicole’s values are rooted in connection and community. She is dedicated to the journey of listening, (un)learning, and taking actions to eradicate the violence of colonization, sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia, and other injustices, especially in support of Indigenous Peoples, Black People, People of Colour, and 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
